Leather trench-coat of western, steampunk, and dieselpunk influences and inspirations, all mixed up in a post-apocalyptic horror fashion.
I plan on making this coat for myself as soon as I have the money to afford the materials.

Both shiny and matte finish chrome-tanned leather for the most part, deep brown leather ebelishments, and a dirty rusty red suede for the lining and collar. Also a sad excuse to make very manly corset-like lacing.

-EDIT-
To all those wondering why I've branded this in the "post-apocalyptical" theme:
Imagine an alternate world, in the 1940's the second world war did not know a good ending and has resulted in massive nuclear destruction of nearly all human life. Survivors are forced to survive in small towns scattered around a hot, desertic land, fighting over supplies of food and water. Lack of population, goods, and modern technology has forced man to take a step back in time and rely on older, more mechanical late-victorian technologies, though remnants of modern motorised and war equipments still exist, although mostly fallen into the hands of outlaws.
Does it make more sense now? :)

-EDIT2-
Whaaaaaaaat? DD? Really? O_O
Wow, thanks! XD

-EDIT3- (PLEASE READ!)
-May I use/alter this design to make myself a coat or use it for other personnal projects?
No.
And I'm not gonna do any exceptions here. I am -very- possessive of my fashion designs, and even more about this coat. I perceive coats as being some sort of personnal trademark of a person, and since I plan to make this very coat for myself, well, you get my point. Please respect this, and do not ask anymore.
Thank you for understanding.

I feel its a bit, flamboyant for post apocalyptic. It looks good but I personally prefer a simpler more practical design

It's mostly a mix-and-match of several of my favourite coat/vest designs through the ages, it hasn't really been inspired by something in particular.
More precisely, the skirt is based off a justaucorp (colonial/pirate coat, as people call them) pattern, only much longer and slightly narrower. The cuffs are reminiscent of those coats as well, though greatly slimmed down and much more modern in style. The back's cut is more western in influences, whereas the front is sort of a 1930's-40's german winter military coat fused with a classic vest. The sleeves have a cloak-like adornment around the shoulders like inverness capes.
Everything pimped up with some decorations and the colors I like to wear.

That's one amazing coat. Very evil-esque, yet, something hopeful as well. I love it!
